Comparison · Frontbox vs Aspro

Aspro or Frontbox: a template inside Bitrix or a storefront on top of it

Aspro is a ready‑made solution installed inside 1C‑Bitrix. Frontbox is a storefront and an app that sit on top of your Bitrix and are run by an engineer on a subscription. Here is where Aspro is enough — and where it becomes the ceiling.

In short: Aspro is a fast start for a typical store built by a partner agency. Frontbox is for when you need mobile speed, a branded app, your own design and one person responsible for the site, SEO and content.
Comparisons

Three key differences

What you buy
Aspro

A template + a Bitrix licence + partner implementation + yearly renewals.

Frontbox

Storefront, app, SEO, content, analytics and an engineer — in one subscription.

Money
Aspro

≈ 197,000 ₽ in year one (Maximum + Small Business) and ≈ 86,700 ₽ every following year for renewals — before implementation and customisation.

Frontbox

From 19,000 ₽/mo with support and updates included. Source‑code buyout — 95,000 ₽/mo × 18.

Mobile speed
Aspro

Tuned by hand: composite cache, CSS/JS bundling. PageSpeed 59–86 after optimisation, per reports in their own knowledge base.

Frontbox

Server rendering and Elasticsearch by design. Search under 100 ms across 100,000 products.

Aspro prices and terms from aspro.ru, partners.aspro.ru and marketplace.1c-bitrix.ru as of August 2026 (seasonal −25% discount not included). Frontbox prices are indicative and depend on the catalog.

When Aspro is the right call

  • A typical store with a few hundred products and a standard purchase flow
  • You need to launch in 3–5 days through a partner agency and design is not a priority
  • No mobile app needed — “add to home screen” is enough
  • You have an in‑house Bitrix developer to maintain the template and updates

When Frontbox

  • The store is already on Bitrix, but the front is slow and template changes are expensive
  • You need an app under your own brand — from the same data, no third parties
  • A catalog of 10,000+ items that needs instant search and facets
  • Languages, currencies, regions — without a second copy of the site
  • You want one invoice and one responsible person instead of an agency, a content manager and a developer

Moving from Aspro to Frontbox

Bitrix stays. Only the storefront changes: shoppers see a new site and app, you keep working in the same admin, ERP sync and CRM stay untouched.

  1. 01

    Demo on your catalog

We connect the catalog from Bitrix and show search, product pages and the app on your products.

  2. 02

Storefront next to the live site

The new front runs on a staging domain; redirects from old URLs are prepared in advance — rankings are preserved.

  3. 03

    Gradual switch

Traffic moves in parts. The Aspro template stays as a fallback; rollback is a single setting.

FAQ

Questions when moving from Aspro

What store owners on Aspro ask. Everything else — on a demo.

Do we have to give up Bitrix and the Aspro licence?

No. Bitrix stays as the backend: catalog, orders, ERP sync, CRM. The Aspro template stops being the storefront but can stay as a fallback. You no longer need to renew the Aspro licence.

Will we keep our search rankings?

Yes. URL structure and redirects are prepared before the switch; technical SEO — structured data, sitemap, meta, redirects — is part of Frontbox.

Can we keep the Aspro design?

Logic and elements can be carried over, but most clients use the move to get a branded design instead of a catalog theme shared by 2,000 identical sites.

We are on Premier or Liteshop, not Maximum

No difference: Frontbox works with any Bitrix edition that has the “Online store” and “Catalog” modules.

What about the customisations we made in the template?

We review them on the demo: business logic stays in Bitrix, storefront logic moves into Frontbox components — and updates never roll it back again.

See the difference on your own catalog

Send a link to your Aspro store — we connect a demo to your Bitrix and show speed, search and the app on your products. No commitment.
